Vain Civilizations

On Earth, you find peace by thinking that life is short and the ordeal will end. If you have been an honest and good person, you will leave content knowing you have assimilated the teachings destined for you and contributed.

Last week, I asked a question on Facebook, and as a result, I received a lot of comments. Most people responded that if they knew they had only one month left to live, they would spend more time with their loved ones and pray more often.

It should not be understood that, in the absence of a verdict, they are indifferent to others and to God; however, their obligations don’t allow them to live in the present all the time.

Good man, if you did for yourself what you do for others, you would be rich, appreciated, and loved. Learn to refuse the one who has shown he cannot control himself, who makes the same mistake a second and third time and continues. Living with humility doesn’t mean drinking the poison offered by everyone.

Sometimes it is hard, as stupidity seems to be out of control and brutality knows no limits. The only way forward is to forgive in the Name of God. He forgave the world before you. Even if for the material man what I have written are just words, the one with life experience finds comfort in reading the truth.

Blessed are those who can cry, for theirs is mental health, happiness, and feeling! Peace settles in their souls along with the gratitude that they gave everything, thus fulfilling their purpose. Then they raise their spirits, and later, when the time comes, they will leave their bodies.

The current reality shows us that within man there is no longer depth nor a shred of compassion. He no longer manifests the divine refinement he inherited. The unspiritualized soul is nothing but a polyp that absorbs everything in its way, whether good or bad, instinctively. It does not discern or reason, but simply consumes, driven by the same desire that was expressed by the first giant animals that lived here.

Yet, God’s most perfect creation was not meant to behave this way. Man is a superior being, endowed with the power to cleanse what is unpleasant and make his life more comfortable.

Be confident no matter the situation, and the people who laughed at you will love you. You know that, apart from family and a few good souls who support you unconditionally, the world is a mess. But don’t let the environment change you; transform it yourself.

You, who are reading my words now, are fighting a harder battle than those absorbed by the world, who not only do not resist evil, but adore it and practice it.

Wasted Generations

I met young people with financial power, who could buy entire neighborhoods. After sitting at the table with them, talking, I realized that not only had it never occurred to them to make someone happy, but they didn’t even know how to live. Despite their practiced selfish love, they are unhappy.

In childhood, we gathered every evening in front of the block, boys and girls, to drink alcohol and have fun at the expense of one of us. Usually, we laughed at the weaker and shyer ones, taking turns.

The jokes were crude and stupid, often with a sexual undertone. If humans didn’t have physiological needs and didn’t reproduce in the well-known manner, we would have been very bored teenagers. The desire for affirmation, pride, and rebelliousness dominated, and neither our parents had heard of education.

Looking back, I regretfully realize that more than half of my acquaintances have lost their way.

Innocence was born in the countryside. Dark cities kill the light in man and steal his joy of living. A gentle rain, echoing on the tin roof, the smell of smoke and the flowers at the window, the simplicity of the grandparents I loved; the fact that I am here and inspire you is a miracle whose author I am not.
