The inner struggle takes place in adulthood. In childhood and old age, life is gentler. The child is harmless in the face of the world's forces and bears no responsibility. Likewise, the elderly man loses his strength, and the world and his inner demons leave him in peace, as we often say.
Many of us wish to be understood and loved at least once in our lives. If the events we have gone through have shaped us, the next step is to accept ourselves and not let anyone judge us. This is me, the man who receives every blow given by God as a blessing.
There is no better moment to show your love than when you are surrounded by hatred. Say a prayer of gratitude for those who cannot help themselves. If until now you have believed in something out of convenience or because you were advantaged, remember that the wheel turns and the world changes.
What you do not do out of responsibility and love, at the right time, you will do later out of fear. Freedom is a double-edged sword; through it, you can either ignore the cries of your fellow beings or get involved. If in the past you made peace with the truth, today you will triumph.
Do not contribute to the world's hatred. Think clearly, even in the darkest situations. In current wars, it is not man against man who fights, but one system against another. This gives rise to hatred among brothers. A wise saying urges us to examine all things and keep what is good, for no one possesses absolute truth.
A leader is one who empowers the people, not those who subjugate them. The latter are tyrants. Yet tyrants are themselves slaves, taken over by greater forces. A diligent and conscientious people, who fulfill their duties on their own initiative, will be loved not only by their descendants but also by other nations. Fear, on the other hand, affects their health and discernment.
I miss the days when we were warm and wise, when faces were serene and smiles sincere. Back then, life was simple, knowledge rare, and poverty surrounded us, yet the fire in our hearts still burned.
The hatred of some awakens the light in others. In the end, we will all awaken; yet the more fiercely we have fought against the good, the deeper the pain will be.
There will be peace on Earth only when we understand that we do not need to conquer others, but ourselves, triumphing in the inner struggle. For we are all the same once wonderful species, which, out of excessive self-love, has forgotten God.
Let yourself be carried on the wings of creativity. Open yourself to the new and grow. Do not help by imposing conditions; give from the heart and move forward unwaveringly where others stumble. Do not chase wealth; seek first the Spiritual Kingdom. Every mental disturbance hides a soul wound that can heal. Do not weep with the darkness; smile in the sunlight.
Ascension
As I was returning home along the quiet streets of the Dürrlewang neighborhood, awaiting the snowfall and enjoying the warm lights twinkling in the windows, I spotted a devoted father who awakened nostalgia in me.
He was a man dressed in a long coat and leather gloves, holding two bags in his hands. Two little girls ran toward him, like little bundles of joy, showing the innocent love they felt for him. The scene reminded me of my own childhood.
What a pleasant thrill would fill me at the threshold of the winter holidays, waiting for my mother and father. I would take a chocolate from my bag full of sweets and spend the evening admiring them.
Without uttering a word, my parents left their mark on my soul through the seriousness and wisdom written on their faces. As a child, I would look back and forth between them and the Christmas tree, becoming aware that I was the most privileged being on Earth.
Now, as I write to you with frozen fingers, the first snowflakes have begun to fall, covering the carpet of dry leaves. From time to time, don’t forget to read. Talking with God vol. 2 helps you stay strong for those you love.
