The Struggle Within

The struggle within takes place in adulthood. In childhood and old age, life is gentler. The child is harmless in the face of the world’s forces and carries no responsibility. Similarly, the elder loses his strength, and both the world and the inner demons leave him in peace, as we often say.

Many of us wish to be understood and loved at least once in our lifetime. If the events we’ve gone through have shaped us, the next step is to accept ourselves and not let anyone judge us. This is who I am: the man who receives every slap from God as a blessing.

There is no better moment to show your love than when you are surrounded by hate. Say a prayer of gratitude for those who cannot help themselves. If up until now you have believed in something, out of convenience or because it has benefited you, remember that the wheel turns, and the world changes.

What you do not do out of responsibility and love, at the right time, you will do later out of fear. Freedom is a double-edged sword; through it, you can ignore the cries of your fellow beings, or you can get involved. If in the past you made peace with the truth, today you will triumph.

Do not contribute to the world’s hatred. Think clearly, even in the darkest situations. In the current wars, it is not man fighting against man, but one system against another. This breeds hatred between brothers. A wise saying urges us to examine all things and hold on to what is good, for no one possesses the absolute truth.

A leader is the one who empowers the people, not those who subjugate them. The latter are tyrants. However, tyrants are slaves themselves, being controlled by greater forces. A diligent and conscientious people, who fulfill their duty of their own accord, will be loved not only by their descendants but also by other nations. Fear, on the other hand, affects their health and discernment.

I miss the old days when we were warm and wise, when faces were serene, and smiles were sincere. Back then, life was simple, knowledge was rare, and poverty surrounded us, but the fire in our hearts burned.

The hatred of some awakens the light in others. In the end, we will all awaken; however, the more fiercely we fought against the good, the deeper the pain will be.

There will be peace on Earth only when we understand that we do not need to defeat others, but ourselves, conquering the struggle within. For we are all the same species, once wonderful, which, from too much self-love, has forgotten about God.

Let yourself be carried on the wings of creativity. Open yourself to the new and grow. Do not help by setting conditions, but give from the heart and move forward unwaveringly where others stumble. Do not chase after wealth, seek first the Spiritual Kingdom. Every mental disturbance hides a soul wound that heals. Do not cry with the darkness, but smile in the sunlight.

Conscious Leap

As I was heading home through the quiet streets of the small town of Dürrlewang, waiting for the snowfall and enjoying the warm lights sparkling in the windows, I spotted a devoted father who stirred nostalgia within me.

It was a man dressed in a long coat and leather gloves, holding two shopping bags in his hands. Two little girls were running toward him, like little bundles of joy, showing the innocent love they had for him. The scene reminded me of my childhood.

A pleasant shiver filled me as the holiday season approached, waiting for mom and dad. I would take a chocolate from my bag full of sweets and spend the evening admiring them.

Without uttering a word, my parents marked my soul with the seriousness and wisdom visible on their faces. As a child, I would look at them, then at the Christmas tree, becoming aware that I was the most privileged being on Earth.

Now, as I write with my frozen fingers, the first snowflakes have begun to fall, covering the carpet of dry leaves. From time to time, don’t forget to read. Talking with God vol. 2 The Second Coming helps you stay strong for those you love.
