It is enough to implant a good idea in the hearts of those you love, so that, after the rebellion of youth, they will recognize the truth and have a root to return to. These are parental treasures, given to the descendants by conscientious parents.
Young people leave their parents to make their way, far from home, as my grandmother often reminded me. Yet, after all the struggles, they return to simplicity, for in their hearts, now matured, the teachings resonate. Even if the parents have left the physical world, they are more alive than ever in the hearts of their children, comforting them. Only then does their relationship become complete.
On a hill in Musberg, two elegantly dressed sisters stop at their father’s grave, take out their violins, and play a cheerful tune, expressing their gratitude. Among the strings, whose sublime vibration makes the heaven tremble, a tear falls, and one of the girls puts down her violin and sits on the grass, her head resting between her knees.
Their beloved father is present in spirit and conveys to them, through feelings, to take care of those left behind, until the great day of glory.
From our parents, we learn the lesson of autumn, the stage of spiritual maturity. Earthly life, brief yet full of meaning, is the trial to which God subjects us. Society entices man with its temptations and threats, trying to distance him from his essence and corrupt him.
Let us remember that we are good, beautiful and precious. We are skilled, have the strength to work, and various opportunities. The current living conditions are favorable, and the restrictions, for the truly honest person, are superfluous. The ability to rise, adapt, and move forward on the earthly path is an inner strength.
Life is a miracle, and the surrounding environment is beautiful and good. It was created by the divine out of love for us. Every man carries within himself both hell and paradise. The polarity to which he gives free rein will develop and dominate him, and his own deeds will either judge or elevate him.
All decisions, no matter how insignificant, shape your destiny. If you wait to become a calm and good man starting tomorrow, you will never become one. Be good from the very moment the thought that greets you arises, for salvation is not scheduled, but seized with unwavering will, just like the Spiritual Kingdom.
Imagine a autumn sunset that you admire with an open heart, a fire by which you warm up together with your beloved, and a starry sky that strengthens your faith. Visualize the joy of childhood, when you saw snow for the first time.
Just as you knew that you were good, beautiful, and precious, and that you carried within you the light of God, you can do the same now to overcome your weakness. The simplicity that satisfied you, the complex nature that fascinated you, and the mystery that inexplicably nourished your soul. Enthusiasm stole your sleep, as you were eager to savor what you loved.
Towards Maturity
Trips with your family were the most important moments of your life. The struggle with the snowdrifts that hindered your steps, on nights with blizzards, remained etched in your heart. Just like playing on the sled. Otherwise, you wouldn’t feel the text and wouldn’t confirm it.
The longer you delayed coming to dinner, the tastier the food seemed. In the end, you would fall asleep with your soles pressed against the hot stove, listening to enchanting stories or watching projected slides on the wall.
Even a plant comes to life in the inner world when your spirit is awakened. Reason fades in the face of love that unites you with creation and reveals its secrets. The first humans who lived on the planet, in the form we know, mastered nature and animals through the love and respect they expressed, not through force.
Man slept under the open sky, in the shade of the trees, without exposing himself to dangers. Above him, butterflies fluttered, admiring him, and the animals protected him as if he were God Himself, for often that’s how they perceived him.
Do not allow anyone to disrespect you, and do not beg for validation. Know who you are, rid yourself of worldly identity, and believe in your own power. Step forward and be what people have never seen!
