If you offer me money, status, or a house, but you destroy my inner peace, your love is not a blessing, but a curse. Watering an artificial flower only wastes the water; the same is true of love poured into superficial people.
Many wonder what they should do in these confusing times, when even leaders can no longer distinguish between good and evil, when normality has become a flaw, and the only love practiced is that for money.
The solution is to keep a clear head, that is, to focus on your own path, stay active, dedicate yourself to your dreams, and never abandon your values. More than that, keep learning, because in learning, you never waste time; education is the safest investment.
The Church did not teach its followers to face the events foretold by the apostles in the holy books, because it did not consider them real. Instead, it subjected them and deprived them of strength, proclaiming itself the greatest authority of the times.
Knowing it had no rival, the Church did not train soldiers, but timid and easily manipulated people. Today, however, humanity faces a greater evil, one that threatens the original evil through submission or, in case of refusal, through extinction.
A person who reaches maturity through the loss of worldly battles is like a pillar that not even the weight of the entire Earth can topple. Worldly victory weakens the spirit, making it complacent, as we often say.
He who loses everything except the love in his heart will conquer the world, for he has first conquered himself and died to the world, freeing himself from its earthly forces.
In the heavens, people are enthusiastic, grateful, and joyful. Their children adore every blade of grass, knowing that all were created by the Great Spirit. Even if they have not yet understood the purpose of everything, they respect it. Earthly life teaches us to cherish the love we long for.
The curiosity to have your story heard radiates through every corner of the unknown land, and love overflows into infinite space. On Earth, however, people block it through the freedom they abuse, to their own detriment, like fools.
I wrote these lines while walking through the forested hills of Germany, covering dozens of kilometers and enjoying nature. Along the way, I met three children whose parents had entrusted them with a ram and two donkeys. In addition to tending the animals, the farmers’ children cared for the orchard and cleaned the vegetable garden.
It was not easy to communicate, as they knew very few words in English, but I admired the animals, greeted them, and continued on my journey. Only after half an hour did the dormant love within me awaken, making me cry for another thirty minutes.
Wise Choices
All this time, the children, under ten years old, together with their older sister of about seventeen, tied the donkeys to the tractor trailer, climbed into the driver’s seat, and set off. A life lived in nature proved to be a wise choice, for the happiness in their eyes I had never seen in any capital city.
Stop the daily rush and think of yourself with love, if not of the world. What will you do with the years you still have to spend here? From the life lived on Earth, what will remain with you?
Let people talk, and let life flow. Die to the world, so that it may recognize your worth and seek you out. If people have become toxic, you be the antidote.
A dog does not rely on sight. It runs toward a man to smell him and only afterward recognizes who he is. Likewise, a man should not take everything that appears beautiful at first glance at face value, but should examine all things carefully in order to make wise decisions.
Too many pure souls fall in love with human devils, so to speak, drawn by outward brilliance, and end up with broken hearts, raising their children in pain after parting.
