Sunward Path

The sunward path can be passion and generosity expressed throughout life. Humility is a rare quality, and pure intention defines our worth as beings. Yet no virtue advances the process of spiritual growth more swiftly than love.

A man is not ready either to be born into the world or to leave it, although he fulfills both and finds joy in them. He will never understand how important he is in the eyes of God, for he does not know himself and lowers himself.

If someone were to ask for your physical eyes in exchange for all the riches of this Earth, would you give them? What use would a treasure be if you could not see it in order to enjoy it? Therefore, the eyes of a single man are worth more than the Earth, yet they represent not even a thousandth of the value of the soul.

Man, if you believe that you have a soul, know that you are the soul to which you refer. If you think that the soul you are must submit to the spirit, know that you are the spirit. If you are still seeking God outside yourself, you are circling the well without drawing water from it.

If you have grown tired of being a mere spectator, abandon the mediocre world regardless of the cost and advance on the spiritual path. The greatest mistake is to give up the activity that brings you fulfillment. The being that does not reach its goal in this life continues its journey beyond it.

We waste too much time waiting, praying, and hoping for help to appear, without taking action in the direction we desire. If you wish to leave something behind, take initiative. The difference between a winner and a defeated one lies in this act of will.

Do not forget that no one is born learned in this world, no matter how skilled he may appear. The magic has been hidden in the things you avoid. It is found in the nature you consider imperfect, in responsibility, and in work.

If you have reached the conclusion that life is a prison of spirits, know that human existence is the gateway of escape through which the spirit leaves gross matter and returns to the sun from which it originates. The more suffering intensifies, the closer liberation becomes.

If the divinity has limited its power in order to grant humans free will and to make them complete and perfect beings through this wise decision, it does not mean that you have been left to your own devices. One day, God will raise you in glory before those who did not value you.

If you did not receive what you asked for when you needed it, it was not the time. If abundance met you without your having made significant effort to obtain it, it will likewise pass away. Your soul is not yet sufficiently mature to manage possession.

Spiritual sun

In life, not all those who help you are your friends, just as not all those who hurt you are your enemies. Take your time and reflect on the thought that lies are often preferred, while truth is rejected, for it reveals things as they are, even when they are shameful or dark.

Life was not meant to be perfect. That is why man’s memory is erased at birth, so that life can be lived. You would not have the privilege of forgiveness if no one ever hurt you, while remaining awake in consciousness alongside your Holy Father.

People are like grapes. The berries that absorb more sunlight, a symbol of love, ripen, and their juice is sweet; from it a good wine will emerge. Those indifferent to love remain undeveloped and sour, and the rudimentary spiritual substances that compose them return to the earth and resume the process.
